In the majority of studies associated with systems, it is assumed that the system is linear and the dynamics of the system is remaining constant. Though these assumptions help in easier mathematical formulations of the systems, it also imposes a lot of restrictions on understanding the system completely and its behavior in depth. In this study, the focus is on capturing the varying dynamics of Mass - Spring – Damper system using a frequency domain-based system identification approach. The system identification technique is based on an adaptive filter which is implemented through MATLAB software.
<publication_date media_type="online"><month>1</month><day>17</day><year>2022</year></publication_date><publication_date media_type="print"><month>1</month><day>17</day><year>2022</year></publication_date><pages><first_page>1</first_page><last_page>5</last_page></pages><publisher_item><item_number item_number_type="article_number">1</item_number></publisher_item><ai:program xmlns:ai="http://www.crossref.org/AccessIndicators.xsd" name="AccessIndicators"><ai:free_to_read start_date="2022-01-17"/><ai:license_ref applies_to="am" start_date="2022-01-17">https://npublications.com/journals/mechanics/2022/a022003-001(2022).pdf</ai:license_ref></ai:program><archive_locations><archive name="Portico"/></archive_locations><doi_data><doi>10.46300/9104.2022.16.1</doi><resource>https://npublications.com/journals/mechanics/2022/a022003-001(2022).pdf</resource></doi_data><citation_list><citation key="ref0"><doi>10.1109/tia.2016.2515994</doi><unstructured_citation>P.
